Okay so its been two years since I've posted and that just seems shameful! SO much has happened in my life in these past two years and I'm embarrassed that I've been slacking!
Really there's only one major notable thing in my life that has happened..
Her name is Piper Jo. She's the most amazing, perfect blessing. She is 6 months old now (I know! So sad that its taken me this long to share my joy with you!). I can't begin to describe the joy of being a mother, and to share that joy every day with Brad. It's everything I could have ever hoped for.
We wake up together every day and I still feel like its a dream. I look at her and think "Are you really mine?" She's such a happy, healthy, exuberant baby. I love to laugh with her and watch everything she does as she learns about and explores the world around her. Her enthusiasm and interest is contagious. Its hard not to be excited when you're around her. As we age, we forget to appreciate the wonder of the little things in life and its exciting to rediscover that through her!
There's so much to share and I couldn't begin to document it all in this one post, so trust me there will be more to follow. For now, I'll sign off saying that there aren't enough words in the english dictionary to describe the strength of the love I feel for her. But if you're a mom (well a parent really) you already know what I'm talking about.
